Our History

Sam Rausman, President of Geriatric Resource Consultants, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Case Manager (CCM). He is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and the New York Chapter of Care Managers.

Prior to the establishment of GRC, Mr. Rausman was the Director of Social Work and Home Care services at a major New York hospital.

He is a regular lecturer on Medicaid regulations, eligibility, pooled income trusts and home care services. Mr. Rausman serves as a consultant to various Elder Law firms. He participates in various Elder Care Advocacy groups and is often called upon by the New York State Supreme Court, Guardianship Part to serve as a consultant.

Mr. Rausman has dedicated himself to a lifetime of servicing the needs of the elderly.
